Open a Separate Instance of Excel For Each File

This was something for work, using Office 2003 — still very commonly used.  No idea if it works with later versions or not. 

There may be better ways to do this, but with “locked down” PCs, this was the quickest and easiest option.

Name it runExcel.bat (or whatever, really)

Then follow the rest of the steps below.

You’re done, now every Excel file will open with its own instance.
